Hi, I'm Mariah! I'm a Salt Lake City, Utah-based writer with a passion for the outdoors, environment, and travel. My goal is to inspire people to get outside, enjoy life and advocate for the outdoors.

I take every chance I can get to visit a new place and document my experiences through writing and photography. My dog, Rufus, often accompanies me on these adventures.

After earning a B.A. in Music from the University of Utah, I decided to combine her love of storytelling and the outdoors. My ultimate goal is to inspire people to get outside, enjoy the world’s natural beauty, and work to protect it.

When I'm not writing or traveling, I spend my time hiking, skiing, and doing yoga - or sipping a cup of coffee at one of Salt Lake’s many cafes.
